We recommend 12-14 days – you can then include a hub (e.g. Cape Town and/or Victoria Falls) as well as your safari experience.

Between 7 and 9 days.  We tailor each itinerary to provide an optimum variety of different biomes allowing for different activities at each camp.  And remember, no two game drives are ever the same!

To be blown away on your very first safari, you can’t go wrong with Botswana.  Saying this, the age restrictions are tighter in these camps, so many travelling with younger children will go to the Eastern Africa camps on their first visit and return to Botswana a couple of years later.

Vehicles in Southern Africa are usually open top, open sided Land Rovers.
Safari areas (“concessions”) are more tightly controlled in southern Africa so the number of vehicles at any wildlife sighting is less.
Younger children are permitted in camps in Eastern Africa whereas age restrictions are more stringent in Southern Africa.
East Africa offers plains and expansive landscapes.  Botswana offers the unique landscapes of the Okavango Delta.
Wildlife is prolific in both regions.

The Seychelles and Zanzibar offer great relaxing options.  There are other smaller islands as well that we can recommend once we know what your tastes are.

The outlying islands of Zanzibar offer sensational diving and the opportunity to swim with whale sharks in season.
