DAY 1:

MELBOURNE

The only way to really "do" Melbourne is to take a walk through the best of the hidden laneways and ornate arcades with a local expert guide at your side. Discover local designers and specialty retailers, some of the quirkiest cafes, street art, architecture, and historical tales amongst the walkways.

The rest of your day is at leisure.

DAY 2:

YARRA VALLEY / HEALESVILLE

Today you head out of the city to the eucalypt forests of Warrandyte. Take a stroll along the Yarra River with a chance to see the diverse birdlife and koalas that inhabit the forest. From here you enter the Yarra Valley to discover a variety of boutique family vineyards to large international establishments.

Following lunch you drive out of the valley to the cool and inviting forests of the Dandenong Ranges. The tall wet eucalypt forests feature the large mountain ash trees and verdant canopy of tree ferns. A short walk with your guide takes you along a fern gully stream deep into the forest. Here you have the chance to see the lyrebird, cockatoos, galahs and rosellas, before returning to the city through the suburbs of South Eastern Melbourne.

DAY 3:

MORNINGTON PENINSULA

The hinterland hills and rich, fertile coastal plains produce an abundance of grapes at more than 170 vineyards. Pinot noir and chardonnay are the specialities of the region. The local produce is also exceptional. Fertile soils ensure top quality berries, apples and vegetables as well as speciality cheeses, lavender, olives and other delights.

Your day commences with a stunning coastal scenic drive to the cosmopolitan seaside town of Mornington. Pristine white sand and coloured bathing boxes are the perfect start to your day. Then visit a beautiful lavender garden and enjoy the serenity of the stunning, ever changing seasonal gardens and numerous water features. The gardens house Australia’s oldest traditional hedge maze which has over 60 varieties of fragrant lavender.
